Rates: Matched to your experience – $75p/hr – $85p/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on drill rigs
• Manage breakdown repairs and servicing of all equipment
• Complete maintenance reporting as required by our customer
• Be proactive in all preventative maintenance including planning and communicating drill maintenance to site supervisor
• Demonstrate leadership initiative as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal performance of equipment.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Strong experience working on drilling equipment such as Pit Vipers
• Valid Drivers Licence
• HRWL – LF, WP (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience post-trade qualification in a mining environment.
• OEM training (preferred / not essential).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
